Gargoyles should definitely be cheaper, but I don't feel their speed was ever an issue. Perhaps explore a 25% reduction, but Area-of-Effect? I like the unique idea, but 50% reduction of Coil heal is insane. And for another, those intentions are actually spelled out in the notes! Huge kudos to Blizz for including dev comments! It clearly shows that they are listening to us. For one, many of the changes have the right intentions. I'm not necessarily a fan of the changes in this PTR, but I am definitely happy about the direction in which Blizzard is taking. I've been out of touch with the balance state of Wc3 since like patch 1.29, so take my comments with a grain of salt. They also dont do much vs expo once towers are up. Not sure if DL will ever get serious play on the competetive stage and ghouls without unholy aura are also kind of slow until they get their frenzy so idk about the dreadlord here. On paper it seems really tought - maybe UD has to win before HU gets T3 now. As of right now even with AMS HU heroes (with the right levels) can dish out a lot more DPS than UD heroes can (its kind of a "ah, thats how it feels to be nuked"-moment for UD). The orb really seems strong vs UD though (and borderline useless in almost all other MUs). Right now I'd say its not over the top but then again I havent played PTR yet. Would really have to see how (if at all) the meta will shift to judge this one. Im skeptical that necros will be too much of a help because of breakers. Will knights obliterate fiends? Hard to say. Its hard to say though as UD will still need T3 for orb and dispel vs Hex but I can see necros being kind of like sorcs and if the temple is there banshees will come out too and then there is the Pitlord for even more dmg reduction etc. I think cripple might become meta vs orc and so blade might actually be in a world of trouble even with the crit. Its mostly first impression thoughts so all is possible.
